The Love of Christ Church has been serving the Alexandria and surrounding communities for over 40 years under the leadership of the late founder, Bishop Carver Poindexter and Co-Founder, Pastor Lorene Poindexter.

Our church family is filled with volunteers with a heart to serve. From the hospitality team to the arts ministry, we love to worship God and help others.
Connect
Founded in Alexandria, Virginia in 1980, the Love of Christ Church has been ingrained in the life of our community with an online broadcast, Power in the Word, shared weekly on Facebook. The church also serves the community with food drives, clothing donations, youth programs and more.
